A World of Peace

It is not our own inner peace that will bring about world peace, but the inclusion of all into that peace, where there no longer remains anuy conflict within ourselves.   Then we can  come together, embrace each other's diversity and humanity.  

Finding a Way to World Peace

Change is a long and difficult process.  It takes a great deal of effort to change the direction from  the one it has taken.  Also, the larger the object, the more force needed to have an effect.

Consider the billions of people in the world, consider their societies and governments, and the time it has taken for each to have developed their current form.  Consider all the religious systems and political agendas, the economic structures, and industry's grip on this world; and what of all of the ethnic and cultural diversities, each has a different position and perspective. Then consider the incredible amount of force that it would take to have any enduring effect on the mindset of this world.

But... what if there was an option to bypass change and start something new.  Not to fight against something that is there which by its nature resists any pressure to conform to another ideology.

Instead of changing our world, we could begin to create a new one: a "Small Worlds of Peace" within the larger world around us, a world that accepts all people, a world that begins to see humanity as a community, and a world in which the potential of all humanity can be realized. 

Maybe you and I cannot change the world, but maybe together we can start to build a new one.

We need to realize the value of everyone, that each life is as important as our own.   Our lives, existence, and future are not separate.   We all share life and this world together.

The Way of Peace

Can we find the way of peace?  We must not just to stop wars but , if possible, to forget why there ever was a reason for war. 

As long as one stands opposed to another because of our inability to accept, respect, and even appreciate the differences in all, we will continue to strive against, condemn, hate, kill, and destroy each other.

World Peace is not about everyone being alike.  It is not about who is right or  who is wrong.  It is not about any religious movement or political platform. It has nothing to do with one group exerting their  creed, values, or power over another.   World Peace is about everyone having the right to be who they are and to express themselves according to their conscience, conviction, faith, and lifestyle without interferring with that same right for others. 

We are all are like a symphony, each of us is a separate note that can live in harmony with each other, so that the beauty and potential that is in each of us can be realized, not suppressed, despised, or judged by others.

Not only do we need inner peace but also there is nothing inside us in conflict with others.
